Return Policy
Due to the specialty of the products we handle, we apologize that we are unable to issue any refunds to your account. We are able to replace a damaged product with the same item only.
Within 30 days of receipt of your order, if you think the item you received is defective due to a manufacturer's defect (such as no sound or picture), please contact us via fax "425-828-7790" or e-mail "mail@bookswithoutborders.com" immediately. We will determine the next step of return process and issue a return authorization number as soon as possible. Bookswithoutborders reserves the rights to review the defective item for evaluation. Once we verify the defect, we will replace it with the same item.
The return item must be in its original package with an order number or invoice number. You must contact us prior to shipping the defective item for a return authorization number, otherwise there may be a delay in processing.

Product Policy
We purchase the majority of our products from the country of origin and from time to time those particular countries may have certain export regulations that may conflict with our needs. Therefore, we may become temporarily out of stock of certain items for a period of time, or some items may become temporarily or permanently discontinued from the publisher or producers without our prior knowledge. Unfortunately this situation is out of our control but we assure you that we will try our best to satisfy you. We apologize for this situation and any inconvenience this may cause you.
We will send separate shipments to you if any item you ordered is out of stock at the time, although this does not affect your total shipping charge on the order. We only charge the customer with the item(s) being shipped and its proper shipping charge.
Once your backordered item(s) comes in, we will process it automatically with the credit card information provided for the original order. We will send it to the shipping address on the original order unless you notify us otherwise.
If any of the items that you ordered are discontinued, we will contact you either by phone, email or state on the invoice with your shipment(s). Sometimes, it may take up to several months before we contact you. We apologize for this situation and any inconvenience this may cause you. Please be assured that you have not been charged for the discontinued item(s).
If you like to cancel any or all of backordered item(s), you may do so via e-mail or fax prior to us processing only. We will not allow return on backordered item(s) unless it meets all conditions listed in our Return Policy.

Error Policy
Bookswithoutborders.com reserve the right to correct errors on our site at any time. Although we do our very best in keep the web site information current and accurate, sometimes a mistake gets by or something changes before a new page can be posted. In the event that an error or change occurs, you will be informed if such error or change affects your order. We reserve the right to correct any inaccuracy and modify our policies.

Shipping Policy
Our goal is to provide our customers with the most reliable, economical and fastest service possible. Standard shipping in the Continental U.S. is USPS book-rate. International orders can be shipped via Airmail (non-traceable) or Express (traceable). We must charge the shipping cost again if a package was returned to us due to unclaimed, refused by customer or invalid address.
The shipping price is determined by the shipping entity and not Bookswithoutborders.com. Shipping times indicated are for delivery ONLY and do not include our processing times. Approx. Receiving Time = Est. Shipping Time (determined by your shipping method) + Est. Processing Time (3 days)
For international orders, under no circumstances can we accept return of shipments refused by the customer because of local duties or taxes. Due to the extraordinary expense involved we can not retrieve such packages and they must be abandoned in foreign customs. Abandoned shipments will NOT receive any refund, credit or replacement for either the product(s) or shipping charges.
